I learned to read with Dick, Jane & Sally books. Brings back the old memories just looking at it :) :). Great quilt-I LOVE IT!!!

om goodness I remember learning to read and seeing each one of those pic. GREAT QUILT. The world of dick and Jane was so much simpler wasn't it.

Oh I love it and I love the Dick and Jane books. Where did you get a kit like this? I learned to read from the Dick and Jane books and they were wonderful.

I think the quilt is adorable!

My name is Sally, my husband is Dick. No one in the family is named Jane, but...
We received refrigerator magnets of Dick and Sally from dear friends when we married 13 years ago. It is a second marriage for both of us, so we really didn't need much, but enjoyed the good memories the magnets brought!

So cute! I recognized the people (Sally, Dick, and Jane) from struggling to learn to read years (and years and years!) ago. Really nice job!

I am so happy to see how you planned out this quilt. I have the panel with plans to make it up as a wallhanging for my teacher son's kindergarten/ library. Now I must get busy! I just finished one of Dr. Seus for his class coming up in March.
