Looks like I am behind, but I want to join as well. I really enjoyed the 9-patch project. I used some and still have some left. (I ended up doing more than 1 per day.) I started cutting squares last night and will sit down and play catch up in the next few days!
I'll post pictures when a get a few done...may be this weekend.

Welcome Mary O & laurlync. That makes 142 pinwheel quilts.
capucine: That's a great layout. Unless the quilt is for hubby I'd leave it alone.
On your 4th row the 6th one across is that different?
Artistic expression perhaps?

Well, I got the first block finished yesterday after looking through several hidden stashes for background fabric. Settled on a "speckled" muslin that looks like sunshine. I'm making very bright pinwheels but haven't decided much beyond that. I rarely plan out an entire quilt in advance but let it talk to me as I work on it. This is one reason I like hand piecing! I'll post a picture when I get a couple more blocks finished.

We'll this is what I got so far. This is again for my new grand. I think I need to start sewing some rows together to see if I really need and more because I don't want to make more than I need. After I get my rows laid out I can then decide on how wide I want my border. I do want my baby blanket bigger than those you buy so small you can't use it long. I want it big enough so he/she can use it for a while. That will be the only way I can tell. So, ladies pray that the rest of it goes together with matching corners.
