I've submitted the pics to Quilmaker Mag, I'm hoping they'll publish at least one of them.

Yes, the flip flop technique entails fusing the pear to the background fabrics, then you cut them diagonally and rejoin with a different 1/2 block.

My daughter also made these flip-flops each issue, and also out of stash on hand. I've bookmarked yours for her to see. Very nice on all of them.
