Tulips, daffodils, roses, pansies, carnations... no favorite unless it is fabric, then my favorite would be pansies.

Daisies and lilacs. The lilacs hold a special place in my family. My parents were married just after WW II - money was tight and material things were scarce. Flowers for the church was just not in the budget. The wedding day was May 5 and that year the area had an early spring. My Mom was overwhelmed when she walked into church and it was filled with buckets full of lilacs that Dad had cut from his yard. Ever since we judge whether spring is early or late in Northern Illinois by whether the lilacs are blooming on May 5. We have even "imported" lilacs from Central or Southern Illinois for anniversary parties (have relatives that live there and bring them along when they come for the party).

I hadn't noticed the play-doh scent, but your photos are fantastic.

Gardening is also one of my loves of life. It's hard to choose just one but I love the purple cone flowers, planted 4 all together in late summer. Can't wait to see them this summer. Also the birds (hummingbirds), and butterflies love them so I expect a variety of nature to see this year.
