Lilacs are my very favorite flowers, they smell so good. My second favorite is sunflowers.

good grief, I love so many for different reasons. Magnolias are beautiful. Carnations are one of my favorites. I love roses and my all time favorite scented flower is the gardenia. I can't pass by flowers without stopping and taking a whiff. I'm of the mindset, take time to stop and smell the flowers.

Oh, my, I love them all, trust me! But for big bang for your pennies...Cleome and Four O'clocks. Big plants, blooms all summer, great scent, beautiful colors!

Tulips - sadly I can't grow them here as it doesn't get cold enough.

I love white roses but I think if I had to name a flower that is filled with the most good memories for me it is the spider lily. An 8' x 6' area of the old family home place in middle Georgia is covered with them every year. It was always such a lovely surprise to walk out to that side of the yard and see a standing carpet of red reaching up to the sky (or the underside of the pecan trees anyway).

This pic is just something from the web in case y'all hadn't ever seen one.

Come to find out they come in other colors too. The yellow is pretty to me too.

Me too. My sons accuse me of having a black thumb :hunf:
I had a black thumb too until I married. Since then I've been about 50/50.
