I got pretty excited about doing this star. I think paper piecing is an easy way to get it done well. As you can see I still need some practice and I'm willing to do it!
Maybe paper piecing will catch on! ha ha ha!
Paper piercers unite! :D
I'm just sayin.... 8-)

Your block is very pretty. I need lots of practice because my star didn't come out well...points didn't match very well and it came out to only about 12". Going to try again, though.

Great color combo...I started mine today after coming back from Joann's and thinking I should have gotten some fat qtrs to do this since I'm not finding anything in the stash to work with. I'm using Batik and it looks like one big blob...But I will finish it and post it. Then try another with diff colors...if I can come up with a color combo

Kat Heathers - You did a fantastic job. Beautiful Star. I love paper piecing, it's the only way to piece, for me.

This is my February star block. I made the first one and it came out too small. This one is a little better. I have a lot to learn before I'm as good at pp'ing as everyone else.

Thank you so much SulaBug. I've been trying really hard to learn to PP. I'm going to hang in there and I know I will improve.

Sufergirl - I think your star is beautiful. The center really stands out, think I missed an opportunity on mine by not placing the center fabric like yours. Good job.
