    Mine call me grammie. I always loved Grammie Bear from the Care Bears so I decided that is what I wanted them to call me.

    Four of my five grandkids call me Grandma but the fifth one has Ukraine grandparents and he calls me BaBa. It is really funny when he calls me BaBa Lu [grandma Lucinda].

    I have a friend that is of Polish decent & hers call her Bousha & her husband Zsazsa. That is what they called the DH's grandparents & wanted to continue it.

    As our DGSs are raised bilingual I am a Granny too - and I love it. DH is Opa and the little one (18 month) called him tonight for the first time by his "name". He was visibly moved :lol:

    My own call me Nanny .They had called their biological GF Pappa. My husband's GC call us the Dutch OPA and OMA.

    My oldest grand son always called me grandma Sherri His sisters started calling me that but with texting they call me gma weither their texting or talking to me my other grandkids just call me grandma my mother in law was called pink grandma by all her great grandkids I know a family that has grandma1 grandma 2 and 3 grandma don't know way she wasn't grandma 3 but for some reason they usually call her 3 grandma
