Found treasure

I finished up one of my grandmothers ufo's and gave to my mom, it was originally started as a youth bed quilt for her.
I did a pieced sashing, I used a solid color and a small vintage looking light colored print. It was a simple 3 strip sashing, 3 inches wide, alternating solid, print , solid with solid cornerstones. I wish I had a picture to post, I need to take one of that quilt!

What about doing the sashing and borders in a green close to the color of the leaves? The blocks are beautiful. You can tell she spent hours on them. It will be a treasure when you finish it. Be sure to post pictures when you're done.
