That is so beautiful, your MIL will love it for sure, and so do I. By coincidence my patchwork group Ladies all want to make one, as does the other quilting group I attend. We are not doing it the sweatshirt way but doing a simple design, described as a Kimono style jacket, but looking at yours, umm......................

Did you sew together to make "fabric" ? It looks like you did.

As one of many, I am sure, I have been wanting to make a sweatshirt jacket for a long time.

Yesterday, I was cleaning my sewing room and found the sweatshirt I put up to make a jacket.
I decided to make a sweatshirt jacket for a friend's B-Day in March and one for my DD. I went to Wal Mart this evening and found sweatshirts made by Just My Size for $1.00 each. Couldn't believe it, I was going to buy two when the clerk said that's a good price for $1.00, so I went back and picked up two more. Just wanted everyone to know. Maybe price that just out here since warm weather is getting us middle to high 80's at least for the last week. You all might want to check this out and get a bargin while you can.

Oh my! I'm going to have to go back and see if the Walmart here has them for that price. I paid $7 for each of the ones I bought, still not a bad price
