I recently lost my mother, I can't seem to get back the urge to sew, I have several projects to finish. Baby blankets, birthday blankets. I have a new grandbaby coming in late March early April, and I just can't muster the ambition to get anything started for her.I envy you that you can sew.

Silk Dupeoni Uneven Log Cabin-blocks pieced, Leftovers from other projects called My Color Palette and
I was asked to make a door prize for the Penn Oaks Quilt Guild.
I am back on schedule.

Your are turning out beautiful work. Maybe it is an extension of the love you have felt from your mother over the years. The ones of us who have lucky parents lose them before we go (losing a child is awful). Don't worry about how long it will take you to stop missing her. If you are one of the lucky ones, you never will. But time does heal the hurt. You are doing all you can and that will be a comfort later. Love to you both. Sierra
