I recently lost my mother, I can't seem to get back the urge to sew, I have several projects to finish. Baby blankets, birthday blankets. I have a new grandbaby coming in late March early April, and I just can't muster the ambition to get anything started for her.I envy you that you can sew.

(Drool) Too bad the camera can't capture the luscious shimmer of the fabrics. The colors alone whet my appetite. Stay strong, stay on track.

Your are turning out beautiful work. Maybe it is an extension of the love you have felt from your mother over the years. The ones of us who have lucky parents lose them before we go (losing a child is awful). Don't worry about how long it will take you to stop missing her. If you are one of the lucky ones, you never will. But time does heal the hurt. You are doing all you can and that will be a comfort later. Love to you both. Sierra

So sorry to hear about your mom. Your quilts are so beautiful. I know the sewing helps though. Keeps your mind busy.

I'm so sorry. Many of us have been there before or are there now. I wish there was something that could be said to help.

Your work is beautiful. Keep posting.
