Joann's manager shared with me they will no longer recieve Kona fabric they have changed to a different brand.
I am very disappointed to hear this. When the stock is gone new stock will be from a different supplier.

Not everything in the store goes on sale at the same time. It all kinda circulates around as to what is on sale. Every once in a while you will end up getting a 10% off total order and that one specifies regular and sale priced items.

I have bought mostly books with my coupons. I did get a good deal on my cutting mat and a couple of rulers. You just have to really look for the regular priced things. My next purchase is going to be a pair of gingher scissors when I get another coupon. I have the gingher seam ripper (which I have put to good use) and it is far better than the cheaper one. Well worth the extra money for it and if you are getting it for 40% or 50% off then it is not a bad price.

I usually use it for quilt books, cookbook, etc., those are rarely on sale and at 40% off, a lot more affordable. Or something over in the cooking/baking section, got a really nice Wilton wire whip once I just love.

do you know about the VIP card from JoAnns just apply- but you must be a member of a local guild then when you shop you show them the VIP card at the resister and you get a 10% of the total bill. oh, you have to show the card along with your license so they you are you. I've had and used my card over a year now it is a savings. I don't know if this is availbable to all JoAnns or just the one here in western MA.

I went there yesterday and used a 40% off coupon for an Art Bin that I am going to use to keep my fat quarters in. It was $24.95, and not on sale.

With the VIP card you must show it before they ring you up or our local store won't apply the discount. Also if you get coupons on line plus the flyer you can use both for 2 items

Yes they recently started offering all magazines at 10% off so they wouldn't have to give 40% off with a coupon which would literally cost them money to carry magazines since the markup is only 30%. (I only know the markup because I am a book/magazine buyer)
