CL is fine and you are so lucky, but watch out for Scams. My son advertised a diningroom set and some guy said he wanted it sight unseen.Light bulb moment. Then he said his secretary sent the wrong check. Cash it and give the guys who pick up the set the difference. That ended CL for us.

What a beautiful free find on CL! You're very lucky. Just a warning to everyone who uses CL--don't buy used mattresses and bedroom suites. A family out here in the West had a horrible & expensive experience when they bought a complete bedroom suite, set it up in their bedroom and woke up with bites all over their bodies. The mattresses and even the wooden furniture were infested with bedbugs! They were on the local news & I still start itching just thinking about what they showed about the infestation & the nasty little bugs. UGH! They ended up having to pay a huge amount to an exterminator to get their place bedbug-free...

Looks like you have two sets of grooves in the back to prop up pretty dishes on. What a wonderful find!

I love all the pretty things you put on it. Looks like it was meant for your house.

Happy, happy day. Beautiful piece of furniture. It looks so happy in your home. I love your carnival glass, blue mason jars, and many of the other pieces. I especially like that you put your cookbooks on that shelf. I can not get to my cookbooks so I am not tempted to use them. Enjoy. Good find.

WOW how nice. That looks like hard maple sometimes called rock maple. Nice wood and I really like the style too.
