How about a curvy vine made of green bias tape just across the one row? Sew it on first . Add leaves, and easy posies?
Everybody will think you did it on purpose!
I'm always doodling vines and am surprised I didn't think of this...have lots of bias also.
note to self...save this idea :)

Great solution. I thought it looked good before. I know that 'not quite satisfied' feeling. Glad you perserved and are now happy because that's all that matters.

I am amazed with the beautiful quilts you ladies make. I especially wonder at the quilting that is done. I have an old 60's singer so my quilting tends to be more stitch in the ditch and some stippling.
Do you send your quilts to someone who does long arm?
