Good idea to go with green instead of red for a sewing room. My kitchen is red and I love it, but sewing room is a pink so pale it almost looks white. Much more relaxing. What kind of paint did you use to go over the red?--just in case I decide to tone down my kitchen.
Can't wait to see more picts as you progress.

I just used an eggshell paint. It covered it very well. I was surprised it covered like it did. The red was too much in there.

I just love that color green. It's a new orleans green and we have it with a sky blue in my kid's room at their grandmas house too. We like it alot :) I agree...we have great tastes in colors. :)

Yes!!! I can't wait. The kids are really excited too. They get their own little space in it. I'm bringing the old entertainment center in for them to have a tv and they get to put all their crafts in the rest of the cabinets in it. My oldest is starting to feel better today and was getting excited about putting all the fabric away. I still am not convinced I have enough cabinets for it all. Then, I have all my yarn, scrapbooking stuff, jewelry stuff, thread...ect. It is going to be one cluttered room...lol.
