I love quilting with sulky embroider thread, I do all my quilting on the machine. I started out using quilting thread but found it to be heavy and did not like the look.

I've vote for Connecting Threads also....they offer a lot of stuff and their shipping isn't outrageous.

i like mettler thread with 100% silk finish...i often order on line at http://www.craftconn.com...my only caution is that if it isn't in stock it will take a long time and they have a $10 minimum order so make sure you purchase that much even if it's on back order.
