Sounds like a great space.Put is somewhere were if you are snowbound, you could dig a path to its door and have a party.

wow - what a gift! Never thought of looking at sheds to use as a sewing retreat/workshop. Can't do it where we live (loft downtown) but come the day if we ever decide it's time to buy a house out in the country, I'll keep it in mind!! Congratulations!!!

I think you ought to really check in to insulating your floor. We have a room built onto our home, over the concrete slab that a porch. The contractor built up a floor over the concrete and insulated between the studs, like the walls. If my feet get cold, I am cold all over! Can't wait to see your pictures!!

Great idea on the shed. I never thought about using one before. I've been hinting lately that it would be nice to add a room to the house for my quilting. DH just smiles and walks away.

Only 14'x20?  My neighbor behind me collects tractors and has a metal outbuilding 50'x100'. That would be a good size for my sewing studio :| Will it have heat so you can enjoy it in cold weather too? Actually, now that I think of it, my little garden shed needs to be cleaned out. And I don't garden much any more. Hmmmm!!! Let us see pics when you get it done.

Wow! What an awesome thought. I have seen some real cute sheds. I think I will propose that to my husband, and then he can stop worrying about me taking over the Master Bedroom.
