like dunster and nhweaver both said. after it is all said and done, it is personal choice. all of the brands named by others are good quality and will get the job done. i personally use whichever of the good quality names i can get on sale.

I like Mettler. Does anyone have any comments on this thread.
Connecting Threads seems to have a good selection for you.
If the others on this line like Mettler, why not just insert "Mettler" in the search engine and see who handles it. I believe there is another resource, but I cannot remember who it is at this time.

Try Superior Threads or Connecting Threads. O have Connecting Threads' current catalog and they're having a sale on thread now.

Are you wanting thread for machine quilting or hand quilting? there is quite a difference

I use Egyptian cotton thread from Connecting Threads... very reasonably priced compared to most threads and it works very well. The last time I purchased it, 1200 yard spools were $2.49 each... WalMart sells thread for $4.96 for the same sized spool. Thread has become very expensive.
