I have a Viking and pay $89.00 once a year to get it cleaned. I do my best to keep it clean during the year. I don't mind paying that much as I paid a lot of money for it. The best advice I would give you is buy from a dealer who you trust. I bought my Viking from a dealer who is fabulous. Why I did not go back and buy my quilting machine from them I will never know. I bought a Pfaff lingarm and wish I had bought a Viking only because the Pfaff dealer was less than helpful after I bought the machine. She has since gone out of business and I know that is why. Now the Viking dealer is helping me with my Pfaff. Told DH today that if I buy another machine it will definitely be a Viking. All because of the service and friendly ladies who work there.
