Dogs, I had 6, but am down to 2 and they are the same age, but I hope they don't go at the same time. I'm to old to start over with a new puppy. Although I'd have 10 dogs if I could....I LOVE my dogs.

Love dogs but have decided at our age to settle with just 1 wonderful house cat, "Rusty". He is a gem. I don't know who loves each other more. He loves us and we love him. All 22# of him.

I have a thief of a cat. I find him pushing saftey pins, straight pins, spools of thread, pieces of materia, my glasses, flowers, anything he can get his little mouth around. I even follow thread to find the spools of thread. HELP! does anyone know how to train the 7month old male stinker?

Thread and string is very dangerous for cats. I know of 2 friends that their cats got string or thread caught in their throats from swallowing it. One almost died before they found what had happened. I had a cat who had a paper grocery bag he loved to be in. One day Ipicked it up and found all kinds of things he had been stealing and putting in his bag. So not sure what you can do about stealing, but do try to keep thread out of his way.

I have to keep the door closed when I am not in the sewing room. I found him one time with a long heavy string chewing. I didn't realize how long it was until I started pulling it out of his mouth. Maybe 24 to 36". We have just had him for a few months. But he is my shadow, and is quiet when I am sewing/embroidering. got him at the HS and he came straight to us and picked ME!
