My QS just got this fabric in. I was reading about it. Of course, I wanted to jump right in and get started.

When it was explained to me there are several fabric makers involved so it is a large push to make these comfort quilts.

One block at a time will include so many more of us willing to help. I mean, just one block at a time!!

I hope many of you take this on. I can do a BOM for many months!!!

my guild has already sent out the message to get everyone involved... yeehaw.... we have 83 members so hopefully we will get at least 40 blocks... sure hope so......

Terrific idea...be they get more than 1800 blocks from grateful patriotic quilters!!!! So exciting...hope we get to see finished quilts.

I will be delighted to do several blocks for the Just One Star quilt....its the lest I can do...especially in light of the servicemens Memorial Services being disrupted by some people with very hurtful signs....God Bless America and their servicemen.....memepeggy

After reading this post I just realized today is March 5th-One year ago today we were placing my dad's remains in the wall at Arlington Nat'l Cemetary. RIP Daddy

Will do I am a veteran of 15 years and I am always making quilts and donated them to local charity auctions for AMVETS.
