I am a Tennessean! I love it here, and have no inkling to live any where else, been everywhere and nothing compares.
My only irritation is.... We don't do anything!! We are not known for anything. I have am doing the secret pal swap and want to add something tennessee made, Yea, can't think of a single thing! We don't have a specialty.

Not today! Governor Quinn (Illinois) just passed a law taxing internet sales in Illinois. Bad enough we have Crook County (Cook County) in this state. One of the most corrupt counties in the country. We have two previous governors in prison as we speak and another one on his way. Very, very sad state. Beginning to love North Dakota!!!

Thinking about all of you as we hear about the mess that the governor has created there. He is acting a bit like a dictator if you ask me. Wisconsin is a beautiful state. My daughter lived near Madison for a while and we thought it was a nice place with special people.

Born in the UP, will miss it always. Lived there for too few years. Lived in CO for 30 yrs. and loved it, but it's not the UP, now live in WV and it is one beautiful state and I love living here, but still miss the UP and am hoping before I go that I can have one more trip to my beloved Copper Country.

I am so proud to say I am a WV born and raised gal. Adult life took me elsewhere and I will tell you that life is much better in WV than in FL or GA. People in WV are more honest and friendlier than about anywhere. It truly is Almost Heaven!
