I've been eating a lot also. I had a dessert (sugar) the other day and it triggered hunger.

I finally quit eating the sweets again, they are my enemy. I've been craving plain tortilla chips. I'm not big on those unless I have dip but with the craving I just want them plain.

I'm thinking there may be a connection.

I think there is a connection. Simple carbohydrates must trigger hunger. I feel like I'm starving all the time. I haven't felt this way in a long time.

Me too! But it wasn't until I went back the eating a little bit of sweets that the hunger started again. No more I'm done with them.

Hey everybody! Just checking in before going back to bed.
After staying up till 6 this morning, when I went to bed I slept until 10. Felt rough all day, didn't do much of anything.

Then about 4 this afternoon, went back to bed. Woke up long enough to call Missy, then back to bed. Just woke up to take out the dogs, take shots and pills. Now I'm back to bed.

At least tomorrow my days and nights won't be mixed up. I have to sew tomorrow, I promised delivery of a baby quilt tomorrow night. It's a strip quilt, so will just take most of the day.

Weird dreams, today. I kept dreaming I had 3 children under the age of 5, including a newborn, and no baby clothes or blankets. Was that my subconscious telling me to get to sewing?

My food went better today. I stayed on target. This is good, a great way to start the week.

Love all of you!
MJ

I can't believe the pancakes did this to me. There couldn't be any other reason. I ususally get up have tea and plain yogurt with fruit and I am fine until lunch. I had that this morning and I am starving. My stomach is rumbling. How on earth did this happen. I am so pissed that I ate that yesterday.

Atleast you know now what the trigger is. I think from now on I will stay away from the sweets altogether. I did very good this week even with donuts and cookies in the kitchen.

I have to avoid simple carbs like the plague. If I eat 1 small cookie, that would be all the trigger that my body would need to become a runaway hunger machine. The closest I come to sweets now is Lindt 85% chocolate. Easy to control since the bitterness of the cocoa in the bar is actually VERY satisfying to the taste buds.
