It looks great! He will love it! I like the denim. It really makes it a man's quilt and pulls it all together. Not too busy at all!!

I don't think it looks too busy. Perhaps you are too close to it? I think you should continue on with it just as it is. Just mho ~ Pat

I love it! It is just the sort of quilt a man would love, and if you don't want it, send it on down to TX, because I know both my boys and my hubby would be glad to take it off your hands :P
Keep going girl....you'll see, the guys will think it's great...probably for all the reasons you don't like it.

I love the scrappy look and your quilt is a very good example! Keep on going and if you still don't fall in love with it your son might and if not you can tell by the comments that someone will!

Sometimes preconceptions get in the way of seeing the masterpiece. I think it is awesome. Love it.

I don't think it looks scrappy at all. Your theme is shirts -- all kinds -- and the design is fabulous. I made a tote with my husband's old shirts and love working with shirting fabric. In fact, I made a special trip to NYC garment district just to stock up on shirting. There was an amazing variety. Keep going -- finish it -- I think you may love it in the end!
