Thanks for the nice note. My husband jokingly said that they wouldn't think you were so special if they knew how much ripping out you did today! Oh well that happens sometimes. I was just happy I didn't make any holes! (It's an embroidered quilt)

You ARE special, if you're going to work so hard to get it right.
I second that! We're all rippers here! That's what makes us dyed in the wool quilters, our dedication to the awesome, maniacal, wonderful world of get-it-right, or go bonkers trying.
I personally think it takes strenth of character to be a quilter, and my hubby agrees. He says I am some kind of character, lol!

Hi Jeanne,
Are you going to The Sewing Room on Saturday? Leslie is having thread at 50% off. I am hooked on Alex Anderson's thread so I am hoping that I can go and pick up some. Perhaps I could meet you there. Would love to meet you.

Hi Ellie
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've been going crazy trying to keep up with my Block of the Month quilt. We're going away this Saturday and won't be back until March 6th. I've never used Alex Anderson's thread. What makes it so special? I'm sure we'll meet very soon, so please keep in touch.

Hi Jeanne,
I have been using Alex Anderson's thread for over a year. I like it because it is a clean thread. Some threads leave a lot of lint. Also, it is thin but strong and presses flatter. And because it is a thinner thread, there is more on the bobbin and therefore, you don't have to fill the bobbin as often. Leslie recommended it.
Let me know when you are planning on going to the Sewing Room.
Hope you are having a great time.
