Hope you get to feeling better. I'm feeling lost that I can't sew. I'm recouping from back surgery. I feel like I'm going crazy.

Let yourself be sick. If you push yourself too hard you will relapse and never get in the sewing room. Take care of yourself and rest. The quilt will be there when you feel better.

For 2 days, stomach bug and feeling too awful to sew a few hexes on GFG by hand. Didn't even turn on computer. No coffee yet.

My hubby and I just got over it a few days ago. Fortunately, I'm retired but he had to go to work. It took several days to get back to normal. Thank goodness for Immodium! Hope you feel better soon.

I was there last week! Too sick to care - and didn't! But it takes a lot for me not to quilt - or at least do something related to quilting when I'm feeling that rough.

Happy Treadler, Hope you feel better soon. I am happy that you merely have a bug that will pass. Sometimes we just need to rest. I have not quilted in almost two months. What started out as an upset stomach or indigestion turned out to be my gall bladder and 150 gallstones in there. Came out laparascoptically without a hitch and then learned that I had a rare form of gall bladder cancer. What a shocker. I had to go back in within two weeks to have a part of my liver, bile ducts and lymph nodes removed. I am thankful to God that they were able to get all of the cancer, I am on no pain meds or any other for that matter and today.... I felt like quilting. I know I am healed now. There are days that I feel like I can tackle the world, and others like the world has tackled me. Be encouraged.

Feel better fast, and if you don't, you'd better see the Dr
