My sil was stationed in the state of WA and my daughter had a stand in the on post store. I embroidered shirts with red, white and blue designs with Support our troops. We sold them for 20$ which ended up being almost as much (and sometimes more that the 20)as it cost. I did it more for the family and friends on base. They really went over well.

I do believe that you may have had your colors wrong....all that I have heard or red is that it is red for Fridays.
Perhaps if you add a touch of red and white to you blue, that would be fine also........lololol
