Almost TWO months!!

It has been almost TWO months since I have signed on to this board ... I feel SOOO out of the loop!!
As many of you know I was due to have a baby (today actually) but 17 days ago, I went in for a routine check-up only to discover that my blood pressure was 180/120 ... needless to say, my doctor did not let me go home and quickly informed me that we were having a baby ... THEN!
So after freaking out, my husband got me calm and we were admitted into the hospital ... bp started to regulate and family began to make then drive (some had 5 hours and some had 9) and my doctor allowed me the decision to induce or have a c-section ...
THE NEXT MORNING (Friday, March 4) when inducement had not made enough of a change, we decided to have a section because it was the best interest for me (baby was GREAT through all of this by the way ...)
Layton Josephine was born at 9:18am and she was 7lbs even and 19 inches long :)
We are all doing GREAT (well I am a little sore) and she is just the most precious thing I have ever laid eyes on :)
All the family was able to drive in and make it and my mom and husband were even able to be in the room with me during my section :)
Hope everyone is well and I hope to start catching up on things over the next few weeks :)
