IDT Is intgrated Dual Feed it means it takes all the material under the foot thru at the same time.so if you have a quilt and you engage the IDT it will pull all 3 layers thru at the same time(sometimes it doesnt always work that way,there mught be a slight shift in the fabric.

How wonderful that Sandra wanted to share with other ladies. There are wonderful quilters in the world and I am happy that to two of you met. Not only did you get a great machine, I bet you also made a new friend.
