that's wonderful and at least you know they are being handed out, not sitting in a warehouse getting wet and moldy and being destroyed later on.
getting things distributed is so difficult at times. glad you were able to help.

Very pretty! I know they will be appreciated, not only for the warmth in winter, but for the touch of home.

They will truly love them and cherish them. I sent 12 to the group my son was with and they each loved them. It was a way for me to do something for them, as they fight for us each and every day! God Bless ALL of our soldiers!
Your quilts are beautiful!

That is outstanding!!! Believe me, they will be accepted with open arms! It is freeeeeezzzzing in most of A'stan (where the Marines are anyway) My girlfriends son is currently on his second tour in A'stan, I've sent him and his buddy each a quilt. They also love it when they find homemade cookies wrapped up in the middle of them! LOL!

Second batch of quilts sent to Afghanistan.
Have 6 more in different stages of being done.
Have asked my son for pictures of the guys with their quilts, I would like to make a journal.

I have recieved help, with 2 quilts being donated, some $ for backing and fabric to start more quilts from ladies I quilt with.
