Thanks, Ditter. I have this one saved in my videos. I just love hummingbirds, and we have rescued a couple over the years, but they never left the mama's nest after we put them back ~ except to fly away when it was time. I would love one for a pet, but my cats might think it was dessert. Better leave them outside. You are so nice to post things like this.
Hugs,

Pet Hummingbird...

This guy found this baby hummingbird after it was attacked, and he nursed it

back to health until it decided to stay and be his pet. Very charming video... and be sure to have your sound on.

The song in the background is almost as good as the video itself.

just watching this young man and the tenderness and compassion he showed this little hummingbird gave me hope for the future of our youth. today's paper was headlined....grandson bludgeoned his grandparents to death, killed their pet dog, and videoed the whole thing...a lady let her cousin spend the night with her and her family, only to awaken next morning to find he had stabbed her 9 yr old daughter to death. that was as far as i got on this morning paper. threw it in the trash. god bless this young man for saving this little bird. that was not on the front page...should have been. huh?
