I have received a few more blocks and have not posted any pictures here are all the blocks I have so far.

I also have made a block today for Tolepainter - I had fun making it. I don't have 30's fabric so I purchased some and I made a block from the Farmer's Wives Sampler book. I should be sending it out either tomorrow or Monday.

I received two blocks this week! A very special block for my BIL's QOV from Karen with his name and rank embroidered in the center. Karen, a special thank you for the note you've written to send with the quilt! I will be posting pictures soon.
The second block is a beautiful BW&Red from Tink74. I love it! Great choice of fabrics and beautiful workmanship, too! Thanks, Ladies!

I'm afraid I'll need to bow out of #5  Between all the gardening (if it ever gets above 40!) & the graduation/baby quilts I need to make in the next 2 months...it would be taking on a little too much :-(

Boomerang swaps are my favorite! I love the hunt for the perfect coordinating fabrics for everyones' 8ths & deciding on the patterns. Such fun!!

I'll be checking in on the creations now & then & watching for #6 :!:

Yes, me too. With spring coming and many outdoor activities coming up, and tons of quilts that I need to get busy on in the next 3-4 months, I"m going to have to bow out of #5 also.

I will be watching for 6 to roll around in a few months, though!

I have had a GREAT time with this swap and want to thank April for all her hard work to make it happen :)

Kristen, we camp and boat a ton starting in April :). We are going to cut back some this year because of the cost of gas but I know we will still be busy just enjoying the warm weather. We travel to visit family in the summer too, as all of ours live elsewhere. Busy, but I enjoy it.

I KNOW I am totally worried about gas this summer. I have a boat slip up at Lake Detroit here in Oregon (it doesn't open until May) and boat gas is already SOOOO much more expensive than gas at the station...
You're lucky that you can go camping and boating in April it's still too cold to do that here. Sometimes we'll get a nice day or two but this year I don't think spring is going to make it here LOL.
