Licorice has it's good benefits and also bad ones. Pregnant women should NOT eat them in large amounts, also heart patients, etc. Please read some of the stuff on the Internet. My DH was a nurseryman, and said that people who were ill should not use Licorice or Ginseng, because of the steroids for one.

I LOVE black jelly beans. My mom and husband make a special effort to find them for me every spring.
