I know I'm a newbie and don't have an eye for mistakes...(I'm sure you're just being too critical). The only thing I see is that it's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a very pretty quilt. And I know how you feel about doing your own design on a quilt. I did that once and will never do it again! It's way harder, I think, to make up your own design and you did a great job on this one!

Beautiful quilt, great colors! In our quilting group, we have a rule---if you say something negative about your own quilt, then you MUST say something positive about it. We see our own flaws and faults much more clearly than the recipients do. I guarantee that no one who receives such a beautiful quilt will be examining it for flaws!
