Just shows you have to meet your neighbors. I hung a quilted hanging on my front porch. Surprise the gal that lives a block up is a quilter. Instant friend.

do a search for your town or area - we are commonly referred to as South Texas - so I had to search there - then make the first step - I have to wonder if this is the first time that board buddies ended up being neighbors for 20 years and having never met and only live 4 houses apart - but I'm going to enjoy this I think!
I put my little city/subdivision as my location instead of my huge general area address-- my quilting buddy saw it in a post and pm'ed me -- we get together from time to time but email almost every day back and forth about quilting and everything -- it's great having someone to echat with and share pictures and ideas

That is so cool! I've often wondered if there is a way to find out who else on here lives in Little Rock...

I wish I had a fellow quilter close enough to throw a rock at her house!
