I'll look forward to the sneak peek.I bought a box of stuff at a auction last night. most of it was craft things, plastic canvas, yarn some thread and a tray of sewing items It was funny like this tray was made for me. It had 3 seam rippers and 2 needle threaders and 2 pkgs of the biggest eyed needles ya ever seen.It had a little purse sewing kit, that a local store must have gave away several years ago. the cap on it was a thimble.inside was a needle and cylinder shapped thread spool very cute.

Well, I spent my birthday yesterday with my partner, Maine Ladybug. (sort of) DH's birthday was Sunday and we had about 4 birthday dinners out with family last week, so he went to the casino for the day, and I just quilted and had lunch with a daughter. Worked on her wall hanging, then out to dinner with DH. Luckily he didn't lose all his money! Finished the piecing today, start to quilt tomorrow.

How great that you managed to get together with your partner. Happy birthday to you all (even if late). :) Sounds like it was a great day.

Wonderful!! I just started quilting your wall hanging tonight. I took it to my Tuesday group today to show them and they all loved it! Now I feel more confident that you will like it too. I figure if all of them, young and older, like it, I'm headed in the right direction. Now I just have to finish it and see how you feel about it!!!!

Hehehe. That is what fabric looks like when you first fuse it down, then stitch it down (since it was lite fusible) and then have to take it back out. LOL. Talk about an experience!

I don't think it bothers Shawnna too much. She doesn't respond to these peeks but it sure is fun to hear you guys comment.
