my mother bought the plane quillow panel some time ago. She always has great ideas but rarely does anything with them except buing the fabric. I believe she got it at Hancock Fabrics, it was the closest fabric store and very likely where she bought it. It has been kicking around for 4 to 6 years so I dont think they still sell it.

It was my fault it was so much trouble. If I would have just stuck to the original design of the panel and quilted it as is it would have been done the day I started. But I had to go adding the center block and sashing and the extra borders for length. I also didn't pin it very well and that is when the real trouble started. I have made about 40 quilts now and know better.

thanks for all the positive comments. On to the next quilt.

No, no I think you did the best thing of cutting them apart and making the quilt as you did.
May I please ask who is the maker of the fabric, designer or what information that is on the edge of the fabric. I would also love to try to find the fabric to make a quilt for my brother. Thanks

I have no idea who the maker is, I dont have the salvage edge anymore. I did see some non panel military plane fabric at Joanns today.
