I have problems with my computer freezing up when I click on a site that offers a free pattern, etc.

I just tried to go to a link and it would'nt let me. Is it just my computer or what. the link said it was forbidden. what does that mean did I do something wrong?

I still don't get my message in the e-mail. I added my name on the list to get it automatically. I don't have any other problems. I'm able to pull it up o.k. I use IE.
