Congratulations Granny!!!
Oh how precious!! I loved your story too. Bun sounded like a dream kitty.
So glad your son has a new one!
I'm a Granny too, only dogs and cats, someday maybe a human??? hehehe
Sue

About your hubby: Just find an excuse for him to have to hold one. That'll do it :D:D

Actually the kitties would be happier if you did get 2!

I don't really give a choice on the matter. There WILL be fur in my house!

Oh he doesn't object to cats. He brought me one home for our anniversary and she's 3 now. She's pure gray, similar to my avatar. I think he'll say TWO? one is plenty. Like our son said "Dad isn't a hard sell". I like the mother's day gift from Levi then we can't return it!

Is there a reason he wouldn't want you to get one? Seems a cat in your home isn't something new!! ;)

It's really hard to resist a beautiful little kitty. Just take one home - he'll fall in love with it. BTW, how many babies did Nellie have ?

I would go ahead and get two of them. Two are just as easy as one and they keep each other occupied.

I'm such a sucker for cat fur, any color will do. If 350 miles is too far for DH to drive, I'm sure there are going to be plenty of new kittens closer to you that could use a loving home. And kittens come in pairs, don't they?
