I am going to Geneva (Switzerland) at the beginning of September with my daughter. She will be busy at meetings during the day. Anyone have good ideas for what to see and do while she is busy? I would love to find a fabric store in Geneva!

This isn't a fabric store but will give some insight as to the history of fabrics in Switzerland. I came across it while looking for fabric stores for you and thought it was interesting.

Hi Judith, I live in France near the Swiss border (2 hrs drive)If you want me to I could see if I can find a quiltshop in Geneva? If the weather is fine you should make the boat tour on the great lake but be carefull wich one you take or else you'll be sitting on that boat for hours and hours....you would get bored unless you take your quilting with you. Great shopping there too!! You'll need a lot of euros! The fabric you'll find will be imported mostly from the States!

Try granny_59 or beth_at_piecebynumber....they are both in Switzerland. They may be able to help you.

Have a marvelous time. If you haven't been to that part of Europe before, it will simply blow your mind.
