# 2, because it seems appropriate for either a boy or girl, and especially if you would be giving it to a newborn.

Number #1 really popped out to me, however if your putting a quilt away for future grandbabies, my vote is for #2. It's neutral color for either a boy or girl. They are all beautiful and your very creative with how these quilts are put together.
