West of St. Johns. More in central MI. Between St. Johns and Grand Rapids. Ionia likely nearest city from what I recall.

You got it..I live 7 miles from Ionia. I graduated from Carson City-Crystal High School. Grew up in Crystal, then moved to Houghton Lake where I lived for about 15 years and now back 'home'. lol
