And even more interesting is that at the time she sold it, it would have been in excess of $72,000 U.S. dollars, because if I read it right, she sold it in 2010 and lives in Australia.

It is beautiful though. According to her site, it is about 2 meters squared, (about 78 x 78). Wow!

Thank you for the address. I was looking for that quilt again too, because I want to make a crazy quilt and wanted to see what this one looked like.

Mayday, If this is your quilt....wow, it is the most gorgeous quilt I think I have ever seen. I love it! I want to make a crazy quilt so bad, with all the embellishments and embroidery, but can't seem to find a class anywhere. I think I'm obsessed with making one. Do you recommend any books! You deserve every $$$ you received!!

Love the detail in the quilt. So much to look at. I'm sure it was hard to let go after all that time & work...well worth the price. Great job on it!

That's just plain ridiculous...not the wealth, but to believe that kind of logic.
what's wrong with it? When you or I are in the grocery we are looking to see which brand of coffee is the best deal. Do you honestly believe someone like Bill Gates does the same thing?
How do you think the rich get rich? Most of them watch their pennies alright!
    Exactly
