I am so sorry to hear this. My 10 pound schnauzer mix has been attacked 3 times by huge dogs off their leash and I couldn't take it if it happens to him again. I keep him on a close leash and I walk with a big walking stick. I will pray for yuor family's lose. Our pets are our family members.

I'm so sorry about the fur baby.. We live west of town and have 4 mountain lions that hang around, along with two fox, and who knows how many coyoteys (sp) my dog is never allowed out alone and at night we pack a pistol to be sure she is ok. We have friends that live the other end of town out a ways, and her yorki can't go out alone because the eagles snatch the small dogs and cats.. They are like our children...

Oh no! I am so sorry this happened. I'll pray for your aunt and uncle. I hope in time they can get another dog. I know they can't replace the one they lost, but maybe later another furbaby a good home. We've lost three dogs, two to old age and a puppy to Parvo. It took time, but eventually we got another dog. Now we have 4. Sending hugs!

Oh NO! That is awful. I have lost 2 cats to coyotes. Our latest cat is strickly an indoor cat. One evening we saw a coyote walk through our front yard with a cat in it's mouth. We tried to chase it, but it was faster then us.

OMG!!! I am so sorry for you, your Aunt and Uncle. I never had that happen. But we have hawks in our neighborhood and I saw one get a blue jay, and when I opened the door in my front yard to get him to fly off, he took the bird with him up into the air. I have seen a hawk hanging around here lately. I don't have dogs of my own, just an inside cat. I do watch my 2 daughters dogs from time to time. I have them this week. I go out with them and watch them like a hawk. I would be devastated. So sorry, hugs and prayers to you all.
