I like the contrast. It looks great

IMHO ... stick with what you have laid out ... except turn on point. You'll get a similar effect to the linked pattern, and avoid the sashing and adding of setting triangles.

This is awesome! Cream and tan go together beautifully! Sashing will tie all the blocks together.. great job!

I don't think you should worry at all....they are beautifully done. As for the sashing, try to pick a darker green or even gold in the shades you have used. Also try black; it might make it stunning!!
