That is just lovely. I can't write anymore right now; I have tears welling up because I'm afraid my Mom is headed in that direction herself.

What a beautiful quilt! Such a gift of love :->>

My mother had dementia so I feel your pain. Before she passed, when I went to visit sometimes I was me, sometimes I was my sister, sometimes I was HER sister, sometimes I was just a nice person visiting - I just let her think she had a lot of company! :->>

For anyone who wants to read or listen to audio books for help/insight, Mom's Dr suggested: The 36 Hour Day (especially for caregivers!); Aging with Grace (will help you understand); and most recently Gail Sheehy's new book: Passages for Caregivers (for any terminal situation). They all helped me so thought I'd pass it on.

Beautifully done in wonderful colors, and you can just feel the love in it. Bless you all through this difficult time. I like to think your mom will feel the love you put into it at the soul level.

This was a block of the month quilt from a local quilt shop. It doesn't have a name.
