    Thanks for sharing. I love seeing what quilters have done and are doing in other places. The war memorial skirts are touching. Be sure to let us see what you make with your bargains.

    some where from the museum itself, one from another museum and a couple privately owned; They were amazing, all embroidered with names and dates of people who had died in the camps or fighting for the resistance.

    of the 15 family members that were still in Germany at the beginning of the war and the progroms against the Jews, two of my family survived. the rest perished in various concentration camps. Thats why the memorial skirts were so touching.
