Great photos. I am often amazed at what people can make. Those hexagons are tiny--I can imagine a group of people sitting around putting them all together.

I think the war memorial skirts are so very special. What a wonderful exhibit.

    Your fabric is beautiful too!

Beautiful. I am amazed at the work they must have put into these quilts.

Thanks all of you for your 'thanks'! - (and for missing me a little bit!)

As for projects - I want to make a lap quilt for my neighbour who is so good at feeding chickens and cat while we're away and I want to do a version of the blue and white quilt I saw with the one little red patch, and something like the ABC quilt AND I've just had lots of lovely farm panels from butterflywing which are crying out to be made into a child's quilt, some cushions and curtains for my son's room AND there's the door quilt curtain I've been discussing on here to do - the gold fabric I bought is the final piece i needed for that!!! I've nearly finished hand quilting the lap quilt I made for my daughter from Izy's D9P tute and there's a top for our bed to hand quilt once the batting comes before I even think of starting anything else! Dontcha wish there were more hours in the day? :D

    K

Many thanks for posting the beautiful pics, whereabouts in Holland was the show. I keep thinking of nipping over to see some of their lovely works of art.
Do you know of any retreats in Holland?
