I emailed the WalMart regarding the North Attleboro, MA store a couple weeks ago. They replied saying no they were not bringing it back, but that store is very close to a JoAnns and I wonder if that was the reason they chose not to. There are so many around here I hope at least one or two carry fabric some time soon.

My WalMart Super Center never quit carrying fabric here in Oklahoma City. Some of them in OKC did, however. I usually go look at what they have when I go in the store. Glad to learn that they will be carrying it in other WalMarts soon. When we visited Sierra Vista, AZ a yr. & 1/2 ago I was really impressed with the fabrics in their WalMart. It seemed the quality was quite good. They have no other stores except 2 quilt shops there that carry fabric.

The Walmart I frequent was just opened about the time fabric was phasing out so they never had it. Hope it gets some anyway!

Not all the stores stopped carrying fabric but most of them did. I was very happy when the one I frequent didn't take that section out. But we have more around us thaqt did take it away and I know a lot of people were upset. It's about time they returned it.
