You should be able to trace the package through whatever carrier you used. If you explain the situation and pay to have it found and returned, I would hope that you could get it back. It's worth a try...

I can relate totally to you. My experience 3 weeks ago: My daughter had her purse stolen on a Monday and in her purse she had her keys which included a key to my house and a letter with her 'home' address on it. I had just finished a quilt top and had it spread out on my bed and I left to buy some backing material. While I was gone that somebody who stole my daughter's purse used her key to enter my house. I wasn't gone too long...2 hours. When I came home I went in one door and they went out another. Thank goodness I wasn't gone longer! What did they take? My quilt top!, and the other quilt on the bed, computer monitor, electric tooth brush, bottle of soft soap, camera, watch and few other things. They had other things boxed up ready to go out. I know what you mean...work on making a quilt and it disappear...the time...the money...the thought of sharing it with someone you love...

I hope the carrier caught it that she didn't live there anymore. Hopefully it will make its way back to your home and then you can resend. I would think they could go back to the place it was delivered and see if they still have it. Best to you both, you that they will find the quilt and that your cousin will get good results.

Do You have a picture of your Quilt? If so print it off with a note have you seen this quilt. Post it in every local store that will let you. You might be surprised and someone might have seen it in someones home. OR even been given it as a gift
