    Oh thank you sooo much, I couldn't quite figure it out by the pictures on the other blog. This really looks like it would be fun to do. I see a pillow in my future.

    I haven't acutally finished it yet. I am thinking about making it into a round cushion. Maybe piping around the edges. It does need something to finish it.

    Fat quarters work very nicely. You just have a little bit left over once you cut the squares out. Charm packs are 5" square, and I don't know if they would work. I used 6" squares.

    Are the fabrics tacked down again after folding toward the center where they overlap so the block can be used on something washable?
    I haven't stitched mine down. I was following the other directions. It seems like a good idea to stitch them down as they are folded. Should be fairly easy to do so it doesn't show.
